Abstract (English):
The expediency of using simulation modeling at the initial stages of designing complex innovative products is shown. On a particular example of such a product (multistage collector of a powerful beam microwave device), the problems of creating simulation models and ways to solve them are considered. It is shown that the most justified is the sequential use of several software packages provided that they are consistent with each other.
