Abstract (English):
The book is devoted to the study of the functioning and evolution of the global market of initial public offerings (IPOs). The authors consider the historical stages of the IPO market development, analyze the current state and identify key trends in its development. The paper describes in detail the mechanisms for conducting an IPO, including the preparation of the company for entering the public market, the role of intermediaries and regulatory authorities, as well as the main stages and timing of the placement. Special attention is paid to various types of IPOs, such as classic IPOs, SPAC, RTO, CTO and APO. Global trends in the development of the IPO market are also considered, including the impact of globalization, regional peculiarities, competition between exchanges and market regulation in various regions of the world. The factors influencing IPO activity in countries and regions are analyzed, and statistics on the largest stock exchanges and listing requirements are provided.
