Proposed method of cutting of logs wherein cutting of squared timber is carried out in parallel generatrix.The peculiarities of determination of geometrical parameters of lumber received from a squared timber.

Сокращение лесных ресурсов на фоне возрастающего спроса на древесину, как конструкционный материал, заставляет искать пути повышения эффективности ее использования на всех стадиях деревообрабатывающих производств. Начальной стадией деревообрабатывающих производств является распиловка бревен на пилопродукцию.
