The article distinguishes between generative and selective processes of development. Theories of development describe selection, competition, and elimination of existing forms in greater detail than the emergence of qualitatively new wholes. Selection does not create the material upon which it operates; it stabilises some variants and constrains others. The generative function asks how a systemic quality arises that did not previously exist. Constructive interaction between distinct and relatively autonomous elements is interpreted as its structural condition. The symbiotic law of evolution is treated as a biological concretisation of this principle rather than a direct foundation for social or educational norms. The concept is presented as a philosophical reconstruction and a research programme. The symbiotic law is also interpreted as a means of generative critique and therapeutic reconstruction of conflictual and manipulative conceptualisations of contradiction, while the metalanguage of the General Theory of the Living Word is treated as a means of explicating the generative intention, forming a consent-oriented type of consciousness in humans and a consentoriented type of conceptualisation in AI.
