The article is devoted to the problem of developing the educational potential of the educational environment of a specialized school. Particular attention is paid to the study of the educational potential of a school with an enhanced aesthetic component of knowledge. The essential characteristics of its educational potential and the content of the components (material, spiritual and social) are described. The essence and content of the main directions of development of the educational environment of a specialized school and its educational potential are revealed. The proposed materials will help in modeling the modernization of the educational system of a specific school and will allow updating the targeted development of its educational potential.
