The article examines the problem of innovation management in organizations, which today is the most important factor of sustainable development and competitiveness. The author notes that the introduction of new technologies and management solutions is accompanied by a number of difficulties: a shortage of qualified specialists, the need to restructure business processes and limited financial resources. These barriers significantly slow down innovation activity and reduce the expected effect. Special attention is paid to the selection and implementation of ideas, as it is at this stage that companies most often face mistakes and unjustified costs. The use of SWOT analysis methods, expert assessments and risk forecasting reduces the likelihood of failures. Financial constraints are also a significant problem. At the same time, experience shows that enterprises that systematically invest in innovations ensure productivity growth of 15-20% above the average level, which is confirmed by research. The solution to these problems is the training and retraining of employees, the formation of an innovative culture, as well as the phased introduction of new technologies. This approach reduces resistance to change and minimizes risks. Innovation management should be considered as an integrated process combining human, organizational and investment aspects. An effective innovation policy strengthens companies' market positions and creates conditions for their long-term development.
