INTRODUCING CHILDREN WITH MIGRATION HISTORY TO FOLKLORE AND RUSSIAN LITERATURE

Abstract (English):
This article explores the importance of literary reading lessons for developing the speech of primary schoolchildren from migrant families, as well as their understanding of the uniqueness, expressiveness, and richness of the Russian language. When working with texts, preference is given primarily to folklore, as familiarity with folklore promotes an understanding of the national characteristics and traits of the Russian people, as well as their cultural code. Techniques for analyzing proverbs as a minor folklore genre are explored, and a method for comparing folklore from different nations is used.
