The problem of social inclusion is becoming an increasingly important part of the ESG agenda for business. The growing number of people with disabilities, linked both to demographic changes and the consequences of armed conflict, creates new challenges for the labor market and social sphere. The lack of adapted workplaces, as well as infrastructural and digital barriers, limits the participation of millions of citizens in the economy and exacerbates social inequality. As corporate social responsibility evolves, companies are required to develop new approaches to creating barrier-free environments, integrating diversity and inclusion principles into HR policies, and adapting business processes. This article examines the key regulatory frameworks confirming the importance of inclusion, presents international research demonstrating its impact on employee engagement and business profitability.
