INTEGRATION OF AGROENGINEERING AND FOOD TECHNOLOGIES IN THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF PLANT-BASED PRODUCTS: TECHNOLOGICAL, ECONOMIC, AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS

Abstract (English):
The article explores the process of integrating agro-engineering and food technologies in the context of forming a modern system for managing the quality of plant-based products. The article substantiates the need for Russia's agroindustrial complex to transition to an innovative model based on a combination of digitalization, engineering solutions, and institutional quality standards. Based on a systematic and economic-technological analysis, the article identifies key areas of integration: precision farming, intelligent processing technologies, ecofriendly packaging solutions, and a multi-level institutional quality management system. It is shown that the combination of technological and organizational innovations provides a triple effect: economic (increased productivity and reduced costs), environmental (rationalization of environmental management, reduction of emissions and waste), and social (increased consumer confidence, formation of a quality culture). It is emphasized that quality is becoming a system-forming element of sustainable development in the agro-food sector, combining engineering, digital, and managerial approaches. The results obtained allow us to consider the integration of agro-engineering and food technologies as a strategic basis for Russia's long-term competitiveness in the global food system.
