COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE STRUCTURAL FEATURES OF THE VALUE SPHERE OF THE PERSONALITY OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SECULAR AND ORTHODOX SCHOOLS

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the issue of cooperation between the school and the Church in order to jointly ensure the conditions for the orientation of the younger generation to traditional Russian values. The contradiction in this cooperation lies in the fact that legislative prescriptions have been received, but the real experience of interaction between these institutions has been lost and in recent years has been resumed mainly in Orthodox schools. In this regard, in order to identify the attitude of students to traditional values in various educational systems, a comparative analysis of the structural features of the value sphere of the personality of younger students in secular and Orthodox schools was carried out. The reader is presented with a brief literary analysis of works from various fields of scientific knowledge on the problem of interaction between education and religion on issues of cooperation, the conceptual ideas of scientists studying the value sphere of the personality of younger schoolchildren in psychology are analyzed, which made it possible to develop the structure of the value sphere of the personality of younger schoolchildren as a dynamic system of significant values including cognitive, emotional and behavioral components. The article presents a study of the structural features of the value sphere of the personality of younger schoolchildren conducted on the basis of secular and Orthodox schools. A comparative analysis revealed differences in the severity of the indicators of the components of the structure of the value sphere of the personality of younger schoolchildren, gender differences, and the percentage of low, medium, and high levels of development of the indicators of the studied structure. It was revealed that Orthodox schoolchildren are more aware of traditional values, moral concepts and moral norms and tend to show moral qualities of personality more often in their behavior. Thus, the existing experience of Orthodox schools can also be in demand in secular general education schools.
