This article describes a form of extracurricular activity—a camp—that immerses students and teachers in collective creative activities. It presents the rationale for conducting camps in schools, the principles of their organization, their goals, and the nature of interaction between teachers and children during camps. The important tasks that camps address at various educational levels are highlighted.
