Abstract:
The article examines the concept definition method as a tool for assessing students’ understanding of psychological terms in the context of higher education modernization. The results of testing a methodology for assessing students’ understanding of psychological terms are presented. The study analyzes traditional assessment methods (testing, examinations, control and measurement materials) and substantiates the need to complement them with the concept definition method. The research emphasizes the importance of this approach in the context of modernizing higher education and improving the quality of professional training.
