This article presents the review of modern labor market in the construction industry, shows the trend of changes in the remuneration level of the construction companies management, depending on certain factors. Based on additional analysis the author has developed a practical approach to the assessment of professional knowledge and skills conformity of the construction company management. According this approach the employee of the group of companies “Tekhnostroy” was certified to the position of Chief engineer. The work also determined that all modern enterprises of the construction sector have no methodology for employee’s certification.
