This article examines approaches to assessing primary school students’ mastery of geometric concepts. Three areas are identified: developing concepts of geometric shapes, developing spatial understanding, and mastering practical skills. The need for a comprehensive and practiceoriented approach to assessment is substantiated, which promotes the development of cognitive abilities and enhances the learning effectiveness of primary schoolchildren.
