The paper evaluates the connectivity of the country’s economic system by studying the relationship between income values and income growth rates using mathematical statistics. It has been established that the coherence of the economic development of the Federal Districts has been increasing in recent years. At the same time, until 2015, the growth of incomes of the population contributed to the equalization of their values by districts. After 2015, the growth of household incomes contributed to an increase in income inequality by district. The connectivity of the economic development of the regions of the Central Federal District has been increasing in recent years. And until 2015. After 2015, the growth of household incomes contributed to an increase in income inequality by region. Appropriate regional economic policy is needed to overcome differences in the level of economic development of districts and regions of the country.
