Under the conditions of an actively changing world, migration flows have a significant impact on interaction between countries, and also significantly influence the conduct of social policies in the country where migrants arrive in large numbers. The work explores the impact of labor migration from the Asia-Pacific countries to the social sphere of Primorsky region and develops recommendations for increasing the efficiency of the foreign labor force’s employment in the labor market of Primorsky region.

Начало XXI в. можно охарактеризовать как период разнообразных кризисов не только в политической деятельности, но и в экономической, социальной и природно-ресурсной. Данная ситуация усложняет возможности гармоничного существования социальных институтов. Мировые миграционные процессы не являются исключением. Рост социально-экономической значимости миграционных процессов в современном мире и на территории Приморского края, в частности, влечет за собой необходимость постоянного контроля и оперативного регулирования изменяющихся факторов. Сложившаяся ситуация на рынке труда Дальнего Востока и Приморского края, в частности, характеризуется активным привлечением работников из стран Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона.
