This article analyzes the composition of the venture financing market, its trends and dynamics both in Russia and abroad. Venture investment is currently one of the most perspective areas of project financing. The increasing role of knowledge-intensive and technological industries causes the demand for capital transfer to modern innovative enterprises engaged in research and development. In this regard, venture funds are a key actor in stimulating investment in the economy.
