Abstract (English):
Fundamental changes in various spheres of social life, the development of sciences of various profiles (pedagogy, psychology, medicine, etc.) dictate the need to modernize programs and the quality of student education at the university, increasing the importance of the competency-based approach in organizing the education and training of students. The competency-based approach in higher education presupposes a combination of joint efforts, aspirations, academic and personal abilities of university teachers and students in mastering and interpreting general and vocational disciplines. The issues of studying the readiness of university teachers themselves to work with students in developing their general professional and professional competencies, introducing innovations and innovations in the organization of educational activities at a university are becoming relevant.
