The article reveals the results of psychological and pedagogical research on the organization of activities aimed at the adaptation of children with intellectual giftedness. The article introduces the peculiarities of the organization of psychological and pedagogical support of gifted children in primary school. It provides recommendations for the prevention of violations of the social adaptation of gifted children at the stage of primary general education.
