Abstract (English):
The article discusses the results of a round table held at the Institute for Education Development Strategy, which considered the problem of the transition of a primary school student to a basic school, possible causes of maladjustment to the educational process and ways to overcome it. For the first time, the problem of teacher adaptation to the educational process in the fifth grade was proposed for discussion, recommendations were made on how to establish successful interaction in the “teacher - student” system and overcome maladjustment of subjects of the educational process.
