Abstract (English):
The article presents the expert community's assessment of the problem of psychological and pedagogical support for children with learning difficulties in the light of shifting the emphasis from correctional work with children to counselling their parents, as well as the peculiarities and deficits of professional training of specialists who provide such counselling. Based on the results of an empirical study and using a phenomenological approach, the authors present a model of counselling parents of children with learning difficulties. The results of the study are of interest to practitioners (teachers and psychologists), as well as parents raising children with learning difficulties.
