The article is dedicated to the problem of increasing the importance of new roles that a teacher of higher school needs to master in modern socio-cultural conditions. The purpose of the study is to monitor professional important qualities of pedagogical producing students’ educational activities in the context of digital perspectives of the socio-economic space. In the course of the study, an online survey was conducted among students and teachers of the Faculties of Economics of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Omsk branch), Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev, State University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Kolomna). The number of respondents was 356 students and 102 teachers. The results allowed to identify professional important qualities of pedagogical producing in the system of higher economic education (a high level of communicative culture, a sufficient index of digital literacy, adherence to the principles of pedagogical ethics in order to create an atmosphere of trust and psychological security), the formation of which contributes to an increase in the level of communicative culture of future economists in conditions of digitalization and interaction with AI systems.
