The article discusses the importance of investing in personnel development as a key factor in the success of organizations. Particular attention is paid to the fact that not all companies realize the importance of this aspect, which is reflected in their financial performance. Particular attention is paid to changes in personnel management that occurred during the 2020 pandemic, when many enterprises were faced with the need to switch to remote work. Since the pandemic, it has been discovered that a hybrid work format may be more beneficial, leading to changes in work schedules. The article also touches on the topic of personalizing the approach to each employee, namely: the importance of creating a comfortable working environment and constantly assessing the work of employees for motivation and career advancement. In this regard, the importance of taking into account personnel risks when hiring new employees and re-evaluating existing ones is emphasized, an overview of the basic concepts and definitions of personnel risk is provided, objects and sources of personnel risk are considered, and various options for classifications of personnel risks are analyzed. In conclusion, the main options and levels of classification of personnel risks necessary for mandatory accounting in the activities of any enterprise are identified.
