The authors understand the relevance of the study as identifying modern mechanisms for interaction between educational institutions (universities, secondary vocational schools, and Creative Unions), with the primary goal of such collaborations being the popularization of science and art for the successful development of students' professional competencies. Using meta-subject and artistic approaches, methods and techniques for collaboration between educational institutions and Creative Unions were studied and implemented into the educational process. The article analyzes the problems, considers examples, and outlines prospects for collaboration between Creative Unions and educational institutions. Specifically, the article presents the experience of interaction within the framework of the projects "Drawing in Botanical Gardens" and "Papers – I See the World!" and analyzes the experience of incorporating students' personal extracurricular interests into the development of competition themes.
