The article analyzes the trends in personnel management in the current economic conditions of Russia. It is noted that, despite the processes of total digitalization, personnel is again gaining primary importance and value as an organization’s resource. All processes related to the implementation and administration of new technologies are based on the availability of qualified personnel. At the same time, the shortage of personnel in the labor market is due to the fact that new technologies generate demand for personnel of an increasingly high level and qualification, who will have the most up-to-date knowledge and the necessary experience to work with high labor productivity. The trend of “human-centricity” is described, aimed at retaining the most qualified personnel in the organization, at considering all their requirements for the employer organization. The brand of the employer organization and impressions from it are extremely important during the period of personnel shortage and high competition of organizations during the period of attracting highly qualified workers. This trend is currently intensifying. The trend of expanding the scope and direction of the search for new employees, reducing the extreme minimum values for professional requirements when considering candidates for vacant positions is also considered. The author examines the implementation of online educational platforms and further digitalization of personnel management, which are necessary to ensure that all automated systems in the organization operate smoothly.
