The article describes the content, stages and methodological equipment of the project session for heads and deputy heads of general education organizations with low educational results, held on the basis of SCIRO PC and PRO; to show the transition from the diagnosis of professional deficits to the design of anti-risk programs to overcome educational failure. Analysis and generalization of the experience of an active training event (project session), including diagnostic techniques (“Light of professional difficulties”, “Unfinished proposals”, matrix of expectations), workshops on the development of conceptual documents (SWOT, SMART, verification, the “5 why” method) and group design. Stage-by-stage structure of the session (5 stages) is presented, typical deficits of managerial personnel are identified, prototypes of anti-risk programs to overcome educational failure are developed. High productivity of work and the need for remote support. A model of integration of diagnostics of professional difficulties and mastering of strategic design tools within one session for this category of managers was proposed and tested.
