DYING PROFESSION: MYTH OR FEASIBILITY OF THE RUSSIAN LABOUR MARKET

Abstract (English):
The article shows that the labour market as a part of the national market of Russia is the subject to reform. It is proved that, being a complex socially-signifi cant system, it needs innovative transformations related to the areas of government regulation, new methods of interaction between the state, business and the individual. Along with government support measures, it is necessary to develop market mechanisms for transforming the professional composition of workers, based on the analysis provided by the author, the accumulated foreign and domestic experience in shaping the organization’s personnel potential based on the composition of professions, specialties, and skill level. Using the example of restoration workers, a new approach to personnel management is analyzed — talent management, not personnel.
