The goal set for the students of the XXI century goes beyond the simple assimilation of the content of the standard school curriculum. Today, the school should help the child integrate into society, form as a person, find and reveal his abilities, as well as teach him to deal with various situations that will happen on his life path. Thus, teachers are forced to look for new methods of organizing the educational process. One of these is the development of analytical skills. The article considers not only the concept of analytical thinking, but the importance of teaching students the skills to analyze information.
