The interest of the management of domestic companies in the possibilities and practice of using HR analytics tools determines the relevance of solving the problems of establishing: key metrics of the personnel management system of a modern organization; existing difficulties (obstacles) that can hinder the implementation of HR analytics tools. The authors explore these issues in the context of the changes taking place in Russian companies as part of the digital transformation. Research methods: survey, interview, questionnaire, observation, analysis of the results of previous research – to identify difficulties that can and do have a serious impact on the implementation and effectiveness of HR analytics tools and assessment of the current state of affairs in domestic companies; to establish the most frequently used and preferred metrics in the organization’s personnel management system and the formation of a list of the most popular software products and the main consumers of HR analytics results. The results of the study made it possible to: assess the current state and identify problem areas in the implementation of HR analytics tools and formulate ways to eliminate them; establish key metrics and the most frequently used software when using HR analytical tools. The data obtained can be used in the practice of organizational consulting, in the activities of human resources services and departments to develop a set of relevant practical measures.
