The relevance of the research presented by the authors in this article is due to the need of modern society for the education of a spiritual, moral, socially active personality. In view of this, various socially significant organizations and movements are being created in universities in order to form a spiritual and moral space for the self-realization of students. The article is devoted to pedagogical research aimed at the professional training of future teachers who would have a clear civic spiritual and moral position. The authors have already revealed at this stage that volunteerism becomes one of the effective ways of spiritual and moral education and the determination of one's own civic position by students. The authors devoted this article to the urgent problem of introducing students to the volunteer movement as a resource for spiritual and moral education.
